My research is in the area of moral philosophy.  Most of my work is focused on issues at the intersection of practical reason, action theory, and moral psychology.  I also have interests in the history of ethics (especially 18^th and 19^th centuries) and political philosophy.

The photo above was taken at Puente del Inca (at about 9000 feet or 2700 meters) in the Andes, outside of the city of Mendoza in Argentina.  My parents were born in Mendoza and although I only lived there for a little while as a baby, I spent countless summer and winter vacations with my grandparents and extended family enjoying the sunny city in the valley and the amazing mountains nearby.
